API model

The following is a conceptual list of APIs that will be required to service the app:

• For registering a respondent  
• For creating a poll  
• For getting a list of all of the polls 
• For submitting a poll 
• For deleting a poll  
• For retrieving a poll  
• For Database Migrations
• For Fixing Database Migrations

We will create a Lambda function for each of these endpoints in the upcoming chapters. First, let's take a look at the design of these APIs.

For each API, we will take a look at the following:

• HTTP method
• Relative URL
• Headers (if any)
• Sample request body
• Responses
