Status

While many country ccTLDs use the same or similar status codes to the generic TLDs (gTLDs) we are about to describe, some do not. The following codes are the ones used under gTLDs.

One or more status fields will be present to indicate what operations can be carried out on the domain name and what state it is in. These statuses are set by either the registry of the parent TLD, or by the registrar of the domain name.
